Cupping massage in Bellevue, added to any massage
Cupping adds something different to your massage: instead of pressing down, gentle suction cups lift the skin and muscle. Add it to any massage at Glow for $30.

A lift instead of a press
Cupping is a traditional technique used in many cultures, including traditional Chinese practice. Cups are placed on the skin and create gentle suction, so instead of pressing down like a regular massage, they lift and stretch.
At Glow, cupping is added to your massage, usually on the back and shoulders. Cups may be left in place briefly or moved slowly along the muscles with oil. It feels like a pull or a stretch rather than pressure.
Good to know: cupping often leaves round, temporary marks where the cups were placed. If you have an event or photos coming up, mention it when you book.

Before and after cupping
Before
Let us know you’d like cupping when you book, or tell your therapist when you arrive. Mention any upcoming events, since cupping can leave temporary round marks, and tell us if you have any health concerns.
After
Take it easy for the rest of the day, drink some water, and give any marks time to fade on their own. If you enjoyed it, try cupping again with a longer deep tissue massage next time.
